These vehicles have an average maximum speed of 70km/h, this may vary, if you rent a buggy or quad tour you will find higher speed vehicles. The tours are normally 1 hour or 3 hours, and they have much more powerful and faster vehicles, there are 625cc and 1000cc buggies. While rental quads and buggies allow you to go wherever you want, with complete freedom, but their speed is a little more limited, 250cc.
To rent a buggy in Ibiza you need to be at least 21 years old and have a driving license, you cannot drive a buggy with a provisional driving license, but you can be a passenger. Children under 7 years of age cannot ride quads or buggies. We also do not recommend it to pregnant women.
There is a briefing before each trip. If you decide to do this experience on a tour, during the entire trip, you will be under the supervision of an experienced guide who will drive his own buggy, you will also receive a briefing before the trip so that you know how to use the vehicle. The quads and tour buggies are automatic, this makes them much easier to drive.
